The BMX racing scene is fun, friendly and cool! Everybody’s welcome and all ages and abilities mix at the same events. With fast and furious, action-packed races, and opportunities to see world-class elite riders in action even at local level, there’s never a dull moment.
The best place to find out more about BMX racing is at the track. Join us for an open session or coaching and there will always be someone on hand ready to answer questions and offer advice or support. We love talking about this sport and introducing new riders!
Race for fun!
The RAD winter series of races, here at Decoy and at our neighbour clubs Torbay and Exeter Eagles, are a great way to get started!
The atmosphere at these events is competitive, but relaxed – with music, food and good company alongside the track. There are plenty of people on hand to give guidance, and lots of riders who are trying out racing for the first time – as well as those who’ve been riding for years.

As members of the South West BMX Association, Decoy’s riders race in the South West BMX Regional Summer Series. These British Cycling ranking events are the first step on the road to Olympic glory …
Many of our riders also compete all around the country each year in the BMX Race National Series and some have gone on to ride at UEC BMX European Cup events and to represent Team GB at the UCI Worlds!
